Cameron Diaz next project is to be a hot middle-school teacher with an eye for a fellow teacher in the raunchy comedy “Bad Teacher”. Scripted by writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky from the series “The Office”, the screenplay is infused with smart and comedic dialogue. The project set to begin in spring would be under Columbia Pictures to be directed by Jake Kasdan.
Currently, Diaz is busy wrapping up three high-profile movies she’s working on including “The Green Hornet”, “Shrek Forever After”, and “Knight and Day”. In previous years, Diaz innate talent in comedy was drowned in her roles in drama films like “In Her Shoes”, “My Sister’s Keeper”, and romantic comedy “What Happens in Vegas”.
This new project could bring back Diaz sexy and hilarious comedy stints delivered with the right timing to elicit bouts of laughter from the audience while keeping them enticed to her alluring sex appeal. Her roles in “There’s Something About Mary” and “Charlie’s Angels” showcased her natural comedic talent.
