‘Batman and Robin’ Worst Movie EVER?

Readers of the well-regarded British film magazine, Empire had set its verdict on the worst movies of all-time. Coming from a poll participated in by most readers, the magazine finally releases is official list of the 50 Worst Movies ever. Leading the pack is star George Clooney and director Joel Schumacher’s 1997 film “Batman and Robin”.

Upon hearing this news, many may find themselves nodding in agreement. Simply hearing the film “Batman and Robin” elicits both snickers and cringes from a crowd. Many still recall the Arnold Schwarzenegger’s merciless onslaught of “ice puns”, Clooney’s uncomfortable portrayal of the lead, the noisy spectacles pulling the story and character development down, and the unappealing site of the skin-tight rubber Batsuit with traceable nipples. Director Schumacher was so disappointed with the result and the public’s acceptance of the movie leading him to denounce “Batman and Robin” for good.
