Together with the genius behind the hit movie “Juno”, Charlize Theron will again be starring in a romantic comedy entitled “Young Adult”. Jason Reitman will be directing the film which will commence shooting on the second or third week of October in New York City. Oscar winner Diablo Cody scribed the story—which revolves around a ghost or fiction writer of young adult novels who will try to redeem herself via a trip back home. This event will make her pursue her ex-boyfriend from high school who’s already married.
Theron is a South African bred model, actress and designer that hit the Hollywood spotlight with notable roles such as Helga Svelgen in the film “2 Days in the Valley” in 1996, Mary Ann Lomax in 1997 “The Devil’s Advocate” alongside famous actor Keanu Reeves, Jill Young in “Might Joe Young” where she earned a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, Jillian Armacost in “The Astronaut’s Wife”, Candy Kendall in “The Cider House Rules”—a role she garnered various recognitions from prestigious award giving bodies, Sara Deever in 2001 “Sweet November”, Det. Emily Sanders in “The Valley of Elah” and Mary Embrey in the box office flick “Hancock” with Will Smith. However, she has been certified a great actress with her performance in “Monster” where she caged in numerous awards which include the most coveted Academy Award for Best Actress, Satellite Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role – Motion Picture and more.
