New ‘Iron Man 2′ Trailer with War Machine

The first trailer for “Iron Man 2” released a few months ago gave viewers a quick glimpse of what was to be expected of the upcoming May film: intense verbal exchanges with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) ruining Tony Stark’s Indy car race adventure.

But on the Oscars Sunday night, Robert Downey Jr. plugged on a brand new trailer released by Paramount that would offer more insight as it digs deep into the heart of the action with clarifying details. Here audience would be treated to a more serious Stark as he defends his role to Congress as America’s protector at the same time offering a new form of technology to the world. Stark is also seen becoming closer to Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) while the Whiplash/Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) team-up leads Col. Jim Rhodes (Don Cheadle) to persuade Stark to ask a little help from war machine to win his battle.

With many previous comic book adaptations suffering from too much villains involved, the number of major players in the upcoming “Iron Man” sequel draws significant concern. Director Jon Favreau has his hands full with the Black Widow, Justin Hammer, Whiplash, and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) on board. He must attempt to create a film that would expand the original far more than audience expect it too without overpowering the magnetic charisma of its star.

However when viewers get to see the snippets of Iron Man and War Machine taking on Whiplash’s army at the end of the trailer, excitement for May 7^th would surely boil up.
