‘New Moon’ Goodies with Taylor Lautner on ‘Leno’

True to his character’s lines, Jacob Black of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, Taylor Lautner appears at the “Jay Leno Show” to reveal a secret clip he couldn’t tell anyone at first. Lines sound familiar? Look back into your “New Moon” novels and you’d probably figure it out. Before “New Moon” makes a massive wave as it hits theaters Friday, Lautner grants audience of the talk show a sneak peak of clip to look forward to in the upcoming film.

A shirtless Jacob stands outside Bella’s window asking her to move over. As soon as she steps back, the good-looking werewolf climbs into a tree and leaps gracefully into the house.

In this part of the movie, a depressed Bella after her unexpected break-up with Edward forms a strong relationship with Jacob. However due to some unforeseen incidents, the relationship faltered.

In this scene, Jacob apologizes and attempts to explain how he is hiding a secret. He tells Bella, “I wish I could explain, but I literally can’t. Have you ever had a secret you couldn’t tell anyone?”

Now that is something to look forward to, a great tease especially for Team Jacob fans. Aside from the small clip, Lautner who appeared in the talk show wearing a clean body-fit gray suit brought along his family who sat in the audience. Expectedly he was greeted by a swarm of screaming fans.

He revealed to Leno his past as a child growing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan while tossing footballs with icon Jerry Rice and how he’s earned success in the field of extreme martial arts.

Lautner also shares an interesting story of an avid 40 year old “Twilight” fan that approaches him asking for his autograph on her “Team Taylor” panties she had just taken off.
