No Sequel to ‘Watchmen’

The recent buzz in the Internet is DC Comics’ SVP/executive producer Dan DiDio’s upcoming plans of pushing both a sequel and a multiple prequel comic book miniseries for the graphic novel “Watchmen”. Investing on numerous follow-ups for “Watchmen” is banked on its title as the DC’s bestselling comic book of all time. Currently, DiDio’s already begun the process by seeking creators to helm these projects.

Following the recent good news, many are speculating that Zach Snyder’s under-performing “Watchmen” movie would soon be releasing a sequel under either Warner Bros/20^th Century Fox/Paramount. However a trusted informant breaks bad news stating: “There is no truth to anything related to a movie sequel. Not a chance by a longshot. With regards to the comics, well, I guess anything is possible. I’ll keep my opinion to myself as to whether it’s a smart idea to do so.”
