The horror film that sent shockwaves in cinemas this year, “Paranormal Activity” would be released in DVD and Blu-ray versions this December 29. Micah Sloat, a huge factor in the film, is currently busy promoting the upcoming releases. During an exclusive talk with him, he touched down on certain details regarding the much anticipated “Paranormal Activity 2”. No story details were revealed but he did stress that from the look of things, they’re attempting to avoid a cookie-cutter horror sequel.
Sloat juicily states for fans: “I can’t say anything specific about it, but I can definitely tell you that Paramount and the producers are very aware of what happened with Blair Witch 2, and how you can’t really take something that’s unique like Blair Witch or Paranormal and then follow it up with just a typical, Hollywood horror film. It just doesn’t work. I think you can expect Paranormal Activity 2 to be just as unique, or at least have a quality of uniqueness, just like the original did, in its own way and I think it’s really going to be a great movie.”
Aside from what was discussed, the cast and crew are pretty much tight-lipped about the sequel. Even scheduled production dates for the sequel were not revealed.

If you have cable and the discovery channel, sit down and watch “A Haunting” series….I found those more scary than this movie (and I scare easily!)…maybe it’s because I was used to that type of ghost story telling from the series
