‘Song of the Knife’ to Star Ray J

Singer Ray J is all set to sing the hymn of a professional killer. Recent reports confirm that the singer, otherwise known as William Raymond Norwood, Jr. has been included as the newest member of the ensemble cast for the thriller “Song of the Knife”. Ray J would be joining in stars such as Mark Dacascos, Michael Rooker, and Keith David. Philip Cruz who takes over directorial duties for the film does double duty as co-writer together with scribe James Hyde.

Song of the Knife” follows the problems and dilemmas faced by an assassin (Dacascos) who is suffering from a terminal illness. Filming would begin before February of this year ends, however it has yet to find a distributor to hop on board.

Though working full-time as a hip hop artist and record producer, Ray J is no stranger to the world of acting. For several years, he has appeared on-screen as an actor. The singer made his debut back at the age of 15 when he appeared in Tim Burton’s “Mars Attacks” on the year 1996. Then the next year, he was also seen in “Steel”. At present, he stars in the VH1 dating program “For the Love of Ray J”.
