GQ Magazine’s Australian edition made a major apology to young actor Taylor Lautner when their reporter asked him if screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and director Gus Van Sant who are both gays hit on him during one dinner. The actor’s answer was a definite no. The ‘Twilight’ superstar said that the two know that he is truly straight and that it just so happened they were all together in one friendly dinner.
The screenwriter, Black, who also is an Oscar awardee for the movie ‘Milk’ did not turn out too pleased with this. He thinks that it was a clear attack on his character and that they are shocked on how GQ have allowed this to happen. In his blog, he clearly pointed it out that gays are no sexual predators. On their part, the magazine responsible already expressed their sincerest apologies over at Facebook. They extended their apologies for those who may have been offended during the interview and that to paint it that gays are sexual predators is clearly not their intent.
What they are trying to point out instead is that Taylor Lautner is such one irresistible star to anyone, whatever is the gender. The film crew even cheers when he is shirtless on various scenes during the shooting of ‘Twilight’ along with Mark Wahlberg even praising the young actor to be even better looking that Leonardo DiCaprio.
Lauter is seen next for ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1’ by November 18 on the big screen.
