Taylor Lautner takes on his first major role since “Twilight Saga”. He will star in the film “Abduction” with the release date on September 23. The just-released trailer of this Lionsgate thriller, Lautner’s picture shows up on a missing-persons website, and he sets out to find the truth about his past. MTV first post the trailer.
Taylor Lautner has mixed feelings and emotions on the upcoming conclusion of “Twilight”. The first part of the last film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” is the end of the most-loved vampire series. In an interview in MTV News, Taylor Lautner said that, “We have a couple more days and it’s over — it’s a crazy thought. I think it’s mixed emotions, for sure.”
The first part will be released in theaters November 2011, Part 2 in November 2012; but production on both is nearly done. “Half of me says, ‘This will be a relief. I get some time off, I get to spend some time with family and friends and do other things,’ but the other half says, ‘This is going to be so weird,”‘ Lautner said.
Taylor Lautner is playing the role of Jacob Black who is a werewolf in the film. “I’ve been filming with these people for years, so it will definitely be a bummer. It will be sad on the last day,” he added. He also thinks that’s his co-stars will all be emotional. “Nobody will admit it right now, but I guarantee you there will be tears,” he says.
