“The Twilight Saga” is back on its toes. Finally, the long nightmare plaguing most fans worldwide is over: the Cullen Clan is back in action. Earlier, reports surfaced around the net of the huge possibility of some members of the clan not returning to reprise their roles for the fourth and final book. Disappointment rained the net from all parts of the globe with the news.
Just a few weeks ago, Summit released its plans of splitting “Breaking Dawn” into two movies. The move was jeopardized though by contract demands of not only the cast but the crew as well. Originally, most were only signed for just three films back when the “Twilight” saga was merely a trilogy. However Meyer came up and released the fourth bestselling book later leaving Summit with a dilemma on resigning the cast. This proved to be difficult though for most of the actors requested higher wages in light of the film franchise’s massive box office success.
The result was a devastating mix of speculation, turmoil, angst, and protests from fans including former “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke. Adding up to the problem, key dates in next year’s film schedule are rapidly being taken by competitors. This simply meant that everyday possible money is lost for everyone involved simply due to the negotiation issues.
Now, after much dismay, fans would be delighted to learn that Summit Entertainment have finally reached a deal with both Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. Yes, the two is now officially confirmed to return in their respective roles as Alice and Emmett Cullen for the upcoming film adaptation of “Breaking Dawn”. Fortunately, the last chapter in Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster “Twilight” franchise would be ending with the complete original cast.
“Breaking Dawn” thankfully is now back on track.
