Will Natalie Portman Be Attracted To ‘Gravity’?

In the upcoming psychological thriller ‘Black Swan’ by Darren Aronofsky, Natalie Portman has been really getting a lot of praises. Now, she has been eyed to star in the ‘Gravity’ by Alfonso Cuaron which is a sci-fi survival film that is plotted around a woman that is stranded on a space station after an unexpected satellite debris wipes out the entire crew. The said role has been sought after by a lot of other actresses like Angelina Jolie but was reported to be pulled out just recently. Portman is rumored to read the latest version of the script and make a decision if she will make it for the $80 million 3D project.

Ronald Reagan is also coming back to the big screen for a full length feature film entitled ‘Reagan’ which is set to be released late of next year. It is a $30 million production that is based on two bestselling biographies of the 40th US president written by Paul Kengor. It will start with the assassination attempt in 1981 and fast forward to his life in Hollywood to Washington. There are no actors and director assigned yet to do the film.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will introduce the DVD release of the documentary ‘A Letter to Elia’ on November 9. This film made by Kent Jones and Scorsese played at the Venice Film Festival and will be part of the Toronto International and New York Film Festivals. It tells the life story of Elia Kazan who directed other classics like ‘A Tree Grows in Brooklyn’, ‘East of Eden’, ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’, and ‘A Face in the Crowd’ amongst others.
