Zac Efron Ready for a Lead Role In A Romantic-Action Film

While still looking out for some big break roles out there, Zac Efron has been hired recently for getting the lead role of a romantic action film  that is still untitled but will be handled by Mandate Pictures which were also the ones behind ‘Drag Me To Hell’ and ‘The Switch’. The film would evolve around the story of a suburban kid that will be played by Efron. He travels to the eastern part of Europe and falls in love for a young woman who has an ex-boyfriend who turns out to be a very threatening criminal. This ex-boyfriend gives all the hard beating to Efron before he can even get the girl of his dreams in the film.

Fredrik Bond, a Swedish commercial director will be behind the productions of this film. He was also behind the advertisements of Nike, Adidas, Levis and even Heineken. He was also nominated last 2004, 2008 and 2009 as outstanding director in the Directors Guild of America in the commercials category.

His last role was in the ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ who was some kind of a guy. He also just recently finished a role for ‘The Lucky One’ directed by Scott Hicks. It is a story about a Marine who comes back to North Carolina after having served journeys in Iraq and continues to search for the woman whom he considers as his lucky charm during the times of war he has gone through. He also was part of the comedy ‘New Year’s Eve’ directed by Garry Marshall.
