‘Bad Teacher’ is movie that stars Cameron Diaz playing the role of a school teacher who is very unprofessional. She was recently dumped by her fiancé and she has her goals of scoring a relationship with a substitute teacher played by her real life ex Justin Timberlake. As she plans to come up with something that would involve her students, she finds herself competing with her own long time colleague.
Nothing can be a bad movie if you are a true fan of Cameron Diaz. The director Jake Kasdan has the former experience with making such films like what he did for ‘Orange County’ and ‘Walk Hard’, but it is still not such a great comedy to ever note. If you are thinking of a high school comedy that would focus on the humor of teachers than the students, then you might get disappointed. Also, the role of Justin Timberlake seems t be a bit awkward and unfitting to be played by him.
The team of screenwriters who made the US version of the hit sitcom The Office was the one who penned this film. There were good jokes cracked here and there but it was not as good as the ones we get from the TV series. This film is the right film to see if you are in search for some dirty fun. Cameron Diaz can be seen in this movie though as someone who is capable of doing some comedic scenes that are totally unglamorous of her usual pretty self. If its trailer made you laugh, then you would enjoy the movie.
