I have read many post and comments on the new FAME and lets just saythat the film is far from Oscar worthy, but it's not to terribleeither.
I did find most of the songs enjoyable and it seems like they weregoing for more around the rough edges type of a atmosphere thananything else.
Even though some the scenes shown in the previews might be missing, Istill did enjoy the final version of the film.
The bad side of the film is it does seem like some scenes are missingand some characters may not even get into the spotlight in the movie, but I look at maybe it was just cut so there wasn't too many charactersto have to keep up with while watching the film.
Overall it's not bad, but it really doesn't compare to the original.FAME is better than what I expected, but don't try to read to much intothe movie like some people have been doing. This film is meant to beenjoyable and not to be taken serious.
This film is a good companion to the original and is worth seeing on alazy day with nothing to do.
As my final say, I do hope people do go into FAME with an open mind andtry not to compare so much to the original.
I give it 8 out of 10 stars!!

My review of FAME 2009, FAME 2009, Absolutely FANTASTIC, Ignore theCritics, This is about NOW not like the 80's Movie, But connects withTODAYS generation. WELL DONE. Fantastic Soundtrack too.
OK with Remakes we always look to the Original and Compare, Do not dothis with this movie, It is far far different from the Original, It'sFresh and It's about NOW the noughties (2000's) this movie informs theviewer what is happening now, How to break into the Business, how hardit is, and more importantly to be aware of scam artists, and the driveyou need to have to make it. I connected with the Characters in allaspects, I thought that Debbie Allen's Performance as the Head wasamazing and Megan Mullally's Performance was out of this worldespecially her singing, Oh and yes she is (Karen Walker from Will andGrace). All the Other Actors and Actresses were cast absolutelybrilliantly and have great ability in both acting and singing wherecredit is due. Well done Director Kevin Tancharoen and Writers AllisonBurnett and Christopher Gore. You will remember the name. and love thismovie for years to come.

Great movie, isn’t it? I have seen this movie in download web site and it provokes me to watch it again and again. This is my third time and I love it very much. That songs and dances…oh….fantastic and fascinated. The director Kevin Tancharoen has refresh by grabbing all previous iconic things.
