Many people have already decided that Miley Cyrus is a spoiled brat whoin a very short time has become a commercialized Disney diva, however, after seeing this film, I have to disagree. I found this film to be areal eye opener to Miley Cyrus herself. Yes, she has messed up inrecent years, but then, she is only 16. Miley Cyrus and her characterMiley Stewart are one in the same. This film does have the typicalslapstick also seen in the television series. But this film lets theplot to go a little deeper than a half an hour show would allow. Ifyou're a Miley Cynic, don't waste your time hating on this when youshould have better things to do. If your a fan though, this willdefinitely not disappoint. Expect more than the television program cangive.

At this writing, the rating is 3.0 with 8908 votes. I would haveexpected 3.5 It's fluff, poorly done, with wooden "acting" and thecertainty of purpose it seems only a teen could take seriously… andyet its target audience loves it.

And, although I hate to make the comparison, exactly what redeemingfeatures did Elvis or Beatles movies have? In retrospect, not much.

I've been lucky enough to only be forced to watch one episode of theseries, and from what I can tell the movie is just more of the same. Ifscience ever discovers a cure for whatever it is that makes kids likethis stuff, great… otherwise, this is typical and there will be more.

I will just add that I personally found absolutely no trace of realismor usefulness in this entire movie.

The Movie really hit his target very well.

It's a well known Hannah Montana history in an amazing family history.

Miley is facing in, this movie, the superstar crisis and ray dicidethat she could use some time back home to know where she comes from. What born there is an amazing family history, that make us thing insome life decitions of out own and how easy sometimes things just turnwrong

Don't know why the public just wanna trash Hannah Montana The Moviebecause it's just that… wanna trash it. I even doubt that a lot ofthose who votes even saw the movie.

I really recommend to see it, if you wanna see a nice family movie witha lot of music and emotions on it.

First of all I'm not a Hannah Montana fan. I've never seen the TVseries though I did know about the whole double life MileyisHannah plottwist. I went to the film with my sister who I thought would enjoy themusic and humour. Neither of us was disappointed.

I'll be brief with the plot description. Miley/Hannah's life has becometoo complicated so her Dad decides she needs to return to her roots. Hetricks her into going back to Tennessee to visit her grandmother. Thereshe learns a little about life, love and property development.

The film has many positives. It is just the right length. Miley Cyrushas a good voice and is an entertainment natural who is likely to beappearing on our screens for a long time to come. The supporting castare excellent. Okay Billy Ray can't act but kudos to Miley for givingher old man a job. The musical numbers and slapstick comedy are welldone and Miley's experience from the TV series shines through

There are no negatives to speak of. Any fan of the TV series won't bedisappointed and it won't be an ordeal for any accompanying oldie.

PS Wait for the end credits where you will see that Barry Bostwick is apretty nifty dancer! PPS Surprised at all the negative comments on thissite. It's Hannah Montana – The Movie. What were people expecting?
