Bourne is once again brought out of hiding, this time inadvertently by London-based reporter Simon Ross who is trying to unveil Operation Blackbriar–an upgrade to Project Treadstone–in a series of newspaper columns. Bourne sets up a meeting with Ross and realizes instantly they're being scanned. Information from the reporter stirs a new set of memories, and Bourne must finally, ultimately, uncover his dark past whilst dodging The Company's best efforts in trying to eradicate him.

The Bourne Ultimatum was one of the best movies of 2007. It had toughcompetition with Spider-man 3 and Pirates 3 which at least to me werebig disappointments compared to the Bourne Ultimatum. Matt Damoncontinues to prove how good of an actor he is in this film. He's theperfect choice as Bourne a highly skilled former CIA assassin who'strying to discover the secret behind his mysterious past. The rest ofthe supporting cast including Julia Stiles, David Straithan, EdgarRamirez, Albert Finney, and Joan Allen are all great in their roles. Ican't think of one thing I didn't think about this film. The endingfits the film and is a worthy addition to add to the impressive spytrilogy. As long as Matt Damon is up to playing Bourne again I can'tsee why they couldn't make more. Because all three Bourne movies havebeen good and is one trilogy that didn't end up being a disappointment.I was very impressed with The Bourne Ultimatum and is now one of thefavorite movies. If you haven't seen this film yet then go see it now.You won't regret it.
Your a good guy programmed to be a controlled bad guy, turned good guy,who has to do bad-guy things. And you still don't really know who youare! The problem is, why is everyone else doing what they're doing?
This movies is pretty good – except for the story catalysts! The storyall hinges on the actions of 3 characters. Pam Landy's actions makeperfect sense, and are the saving grace of this film. But why does NealDaniels, a man who is deeply entrenched with these covert operations, and has been from the beginning, suddenly start leaking information tothe press? And don't you think this man would find a better way to getaway with it?
And what are these lines supposed to mean? Nicky, "It was really, hardfor me, with you." Bourne, "What do you mean?" Nicky, "You really don'tremember?" Don't you think it would have been nice if the audience andBourne find out what this means? Without this left-out explanation,Nicky's actions make absolutely no sense at all! I hate cheatedscripts. I watched until the end to find out and never did. And whowalks away from that many car wrecks! Please!
If you don't want to be aggravated, then don't watch this one
I really got nothing out of this movie. The action scenes are amazing. However, the sequels are getting released into theaters, but they arenothing more than direct-to-video sequels, quality-wise. In the pasttwo movies, the reason for Bourne coming back into the CIA's radar wasliterally contrived. The movie is only getting great reviews fromcritics because of its heavy liberal propaganda. Wombosi in the firstmovie was a dictator, a bad person, but the message I got from thefirst movie was that the CIA was wrong to kill him. Why? Why shouldAmerica hold any sort of moral high ground if the rest of the worlddoesn't? Why is it such a big deal that movies have to be made aboutit? Are people that spoiled that they never grow up nowadays andrealize the world is a bad place, with bad people? Once you realize howmuch of a mouthpiece the Bourne series is for liberal propaganda, yourealize that it's value as a true trilogy with a complete story is nil.All three are enjoyable for the action, but I refuse to pay for afourth in the theaters. It's going to be the SAME thing all over again.
