this is without a doubt the best movie made from a comic strip. itcaptures the scenic darkness that is inherent to Gotham city and theway the story is presented is so remarkable as everything can beconnected to the main character, thereby exploring the other importantcharacters. Every character is linked and exposed in a profound mannerthe identity of batman and his arch nemesis, joker, through theirseveral collisions in every scene illustrate a noteworthy point on whothey are. this action packed thriller is a masterpiece of cinema whereideals and rapid action work together very well. the acting was of topnotch especially that of heath ledger. he was so fluent with the jokerthat it seemed the comic had been given life. this second film in theseries compliments batman begins on so many levels and expands upon itmaking it an ideal sequel.

ps: i thought that this film should have won the Oscar for the bestfilm of the year but i was in shock to hear it was not even nominated.

I really liked this movie. The thing i enjoyed most is how we seen thejoker more than batman. The joker played by Heath ledger was excellent.HE did a magnificent job playing his part. The joker who int theoriginal cartoon was a crazy but very smart villain. I believe this isgoing to be the best someone has ever and will ever play the joker. Theoverall movie was great. I mean a lot of the past batman movies were awhole bunch of action and not to much thinking. Batman is known for hisdetective type mind and figuring out things. This movie bought that tous. A lot of times i thought one thing was going to happen andsomething completely different happened. Thas what i like most is thebeing so unpredictable.

This film is basically average.

NONE of the performances in this film are anything worth getting overexited about. Heath Ledger's performance was good. It wasn't amazing,it wasn't even great. Just like Ian Curtis his death did him the worldof good. I'm not saying he wasn't a capable actor; I'm simply saying hewasn't anything special.

Have we reached an age where licking your lips and snuffling isregarded as 'a performance that should earn him every award known toman'?

He is only regarded as being so super good because he's dead - simpleas that.

Watch Tim Burton's Batman, it's a better film.

The Dark Knight is the best super hero film of 2008. Iron Man was good,The Incredible Hulk was pretty good, but this film just surpasses bothof them. This film has gone where no super hero film has gone before.It is surely Oscar worthy and deserves a lot of recognition for it'shigh quality effects and stunts.

The cast is great. Christian Bale was born to play Batman, and HeathLedger…where do I even start. He is excellent as the Joker, reallyfreaky and scary and destructive, just as I pictured him in the NolanBatman film series. Aaron Eckhart was also good as Two-Face, beatsTommy Lee Jones by a lightyear. I also enjoyed Gary Oldman as JamesGordan, he is breathtakingly awesome! This film also brings fate tosome of the characters, has you at the edge of your seat at times, andis overall a suspenseful and action-packed film that is worthy of lotsof awards. Like the joker would say, It's all part of the plan!

The Dark Knight is just Batman with a new name, but it still betterthan all other superheroes.

This movie features an all star cast of Christian Bale, Heath Ledger,Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckheart, and Morgan Freeman who all give fantasticperformances and do their best not to overact.

What makes this different from other superhero movies is its not forkids only. "The Dark Knight" deals with many mature issues and hasextreme situations that might not be suitable for kids.(The PG-13rating doesn't seem suitable.) Everything in the movie is creepy,suspenseful, dramatic, and extremely likable.

This is the perfect movie for Batman, DC, and superhero fans alike.
