I loved this movie a lot! It is really heart warming and just the rightmovie for the entire family. If your looking for a cute football movieand Friday Night Lights isn't doing it for you than look no fartherwith Disney's The Game Plan. The first thing that I really liked aboutthis movie is it has The Rock in it and he is the best actor when itcomes to family movies. I have seen other action titles with The Rocklike The Scorpion King and Doom and they were spectacular. I also likedthe role of Peyton Kelly(Madison Pettis) because it's so cute how shetreats The Rock like a father because The Rock does not look like thekind of guy that would have an 8-year-old daughter. All in all The GamePlan is an excellent movie and hits the dart board with laughter andhits it fierce.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays a professional football player who's aselfish, self-centered macho man that changes his ways when he findsout he's a father.

Dwayne Johnson isn't the greatest actor, but let that pass and insteadenjoy Madison Pettis who acts very well. The story works, and the wayit plays out works. This is a family movie and does what it's supposedto do; entertain the whole family.

I'd say you basically get what you expect, nothing more nothing less. It's a cute movie, predictable and sentimental, but sometimes that'sperfectly OK!

Our football hero has it all. The women, the fame, the money and thenhis daughter suddenly shows up. We've seen films before where theunknown child suddenly enters a parent's life. Naturally, the child atfirst creates havoc on our swinging bachelor's life.

Naturally, it's a story of how the two ultimately bond together.Naturally, there are those complications that arise when it comes outwhat has happened to the mother. Naturally, the child takes sick and isrushed to the hospital. Naturally, this shall all have an adverseaffect on dad's championship football game. Naturally, the ending is adelight.

We've come to love and appreciate such films. This one is no exceptioneither.

Going into this film, I was not expecting much. I mean, how could TheRock do a film like that and make it good. Well, my premonitions wereonly half right. This was not even close to be a great film, but it wasnot a total waste of time.

Some of the things in the movie were average. The girl acted in atypical spoiled brat way for a lot of the movie. However to counteractthat, Dwayne dressed up in a tutu. Nothing says funny like a man out ofplace like that.

But the seriousness of the overall ending was kind of expected. I knewthat the kid, The Rock, and his new love interest would find themselvesin the end. And the results of the football game were expected as well. But this is Hollywood and they give what most viewers want. "C"

WARNING! May Contain spoilers!!!!!!!! Where do I start? this was apredictable Disney movie, no real plot twists, well a maybe 1 or 2 thatI didn't see coming, but I found this to be a very enjoyable movie.

Joe "The King" Kingman, a totally self-absorbed star quarterback, discovers he has an 8 year old daughter, and she proceeds to turn hisOCD lifestyle upside down. At first he fights, kicking and screaming, trying to deny that he could ever have enough room in his life foranyone but himself. but this amazing little girl totally chips away atthe wall Joe puts up around himself.

If you are expecting anything revolutionary in story-writing, stayhome. This movie isn't for you. If you are looking for just a funDisney movie to enjoy with or without kids, you'll love this.

One of my favorite scenes was the montage, and I feel they did awonderful job with the music, (Mr. Bluesky – ELO) I also loved theballet scene. it was well filmed and a lot of laughs from the team whoall went to see and laugh at Joe.

See this movie! seriously…its fun! but if you're a whiny fan-boy,you'll hate it, so don't waste your money

watched this film tonight – i have been very critical in the past ofoverrated family films. i am glad to say my partner daughter aged 9 andmyself really enjoyed this film. you can rely on Disney to provideclean family fun for all , this did not disappoint. clearly a feel-goodfilm for father/daughter audience. good script – never boring – awashwith funny and sentimental emotions. American football superstars lifeturns upside down when his 8 year old daughter turns up at his door =not knowing he had one – comes to terms with fatherhood – great acting- gladly not too many American football action – as i can neverunderstand the game as i am from the u.k. – one to definitely buy andkeep – the rock rocks – and is not all wind and burgers
