    Entertaining and worth watching but…

A watered down, less enthusiastic, crappy acted version of roughly …

    20 % Fight Club (Ending) , 20% Se7en (Format), 20% Saw (Antagonist),20% The Ring (Day 1,2,3), and 20% Identity.

Well the 1/5 each things are exaggerated but you catch my drift, thebook may have been original, but the film utilizes and copies too manystyles previously established by much superior films.

    It is semi-creepy however.

Watch it, just to see all the pieces of the other movies come togetherto create disappointing trash!

The word that came to mind as the curtain lowered on this opus.Unimaginative and ill-conceived, can we rip off anymore successfulhorror films please? Pretty please? After the first scene, I initiallythought that the film was a parody; akin to the Wayans brothers' ScaryMovie series. Boy, I wish that was the case. I kept waiting for thepunchline to be delivered, or at least for the movie to be so schlockythat it became a cult-classic. But, this film is actually a seriousattempt.. and not bad enough to be good, if that makes any sense. It'sthat painful kind of bad… the kind that just make you roll your eyesand wish for it to end.

Saw rip off: torturing poorly written soliloquies equipped with raspyvoice. Shoot reviewer in the head.

Yet another multiple personality mindf**k movie (Primal Fear, Identity, fill in the blank): this one is not even close to clever.

Characters aren't believable. How can you get involved in a film whenyou don't even care what happens to the characters. At all. Boo! Earnsthree stars out of the kindness of heart. Slick production and one ortwo mildly entertaining scenes saves it from totally blowing.

    Alright.

First reason, this movie is named Thr3e hence, I couldn't give it anylower than that. :| And the quality of the film is no better than athree. :|

Two, it's three times worse than most bad movies I have seen.

and Three, there's about 3 THOUSAND plot holes in this film…

Alright, but onto the main review…

Thr3e is a movie that interested me, since it was based on a book byquite a famous Christian author, plus it was horror/thriller. AHorror/Christian film. So being a Christian, and a film buff, that wassomething I wanted to see.

Unfortunately, it was a very badly executed idea. :|

First, it seemed, like a good movie. That's when it went downhill… 30minutes into this film, I was laughing at how bad it was.. :| Theacting is Okay at times, and then just really.. BAD.

The story started out pretty good, then just got plain stupid, andridicules. There was so many plot holes in this movie, ESPECIALLY theone near the end, which made me change my mind from giving this movie a5, to a 3.

I really was quite disappointed in Thr3e. It is one of the fewChristian Horror/Thrillers out there, and could of been quite a good, enjoyable movie.

Oh well. Hopefully Ted Dekker's next book-to-film adaption, "HOUSE"will be better…

    I hope…

Very mild PG-13 movie, nothing too rough despite the rating.

    Thank you for reading. :)

P.S. If you watch/have watched this film, I hope you enjoy it more thanI did. :|

Yes THR3E was kind of a disappointing movie itself but over all I thinkit did very well considering it was a low-budget film. Most films aremore entertaining than this one but those other films have things likesex, drugs, & rock-n-roll, and cussing to add to the entertainment.Withut those elements this is the kind of movie you end up with. NowI'm not dissing this movie, I mean I loved this movie! I have it on myiPod and I watch it all the time but this book was kind of complex toput on film and I think it was well done. The ending really made mehappy to see, I thought they would do a half-hearted job with the wholethree people alter ego-ness going one but they really pulled it off. Itis a way better idea to read the book before watching this movie butthat is normal for any book-to-movie relation. Once my friend told methat this book was going to be a movie I immediately got the book andread it! I was on the edge of my seat to figure out what was going tohappen.

The direction is totally sub par , the acting is labored and the plotis as thin as a gossamer , DO NOT waste your time or money on thisshallow movie . I shudder to think what prompted the "Actors" to agreeto do this movie . I can see some talent , but the script and directionis total crap. The story could have been a winner but the screen playwas abysmal , I actually feel sorry for the actors having to act out asdirected. I will never again waste my time viewing anything directed byRobby Henson! If he could stoop so low as to make this movie in thisform then he is on my black list ! My advice to fellow movie buffs isto stay away from this movie and to be very aware that any future moviedirected by Robby Henson should be avoided like the plague
