Toy Story 3 (2010)

Woody, Buzz and the whole gang are back. As their owner Andy prepares to depart for college, his loyal toys find themselves in daycare where untamed tots with their sticky little fingers do not play nice. So, it's all for one and one for all as they join Barbie's counterpart Ken, a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants and a pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear called Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear to plan their great escape.

It is without a doubt that in my personal opinion Toy Story and ToyStory 2 are just all around fun, exciting, lovable, creative andentertaining animations films that are among some of the best ever thathave been spawned straight from the heart. They have brought so muchjoy to children and adults alike for their endearing, bubbly, warmatmosphere and characters that have charmed fans ever since 1995. I wasmore than eager to see this installment, and I am completely satisfiedwith what I received.

Toy Story 3 is a comical new adventure in Disney Digital 3D that landsthe toys in a room full of untamed tots who can’t wait to get theirsticky little fingers on these “new” toys. It’s pandemonium as they tryto stay together, ensuring “no toy gets left behind.” Meanwhile, Barbiecomes face to plastic face with Ken (yes, that Ken). (Disney, Pixar)

The third movie curse. Time and time again have shown us that the thirdfilm of every trilogy is always the weakest of the bunch, and it’susually true. However, since this is PIXAR we’re talking about, TOYSTORY 3 is a huge exception (emphasis on the word “huge”). In fact,I’ll go further and say that TOY STORY 3 is the best in the trilogy, byfar. Unlike most PIXAR films, the first two Toy Story films never tryto be profound. They have always been about it’s lovable, plastic, toycharacters portraying true, human emotions and that’s what makes themso brilliant to begin with!

TOY STORY 3 is no different. We see our beloved characters return tothe silver screen again for their last adventure, and it’s a big one.The story also carries more weight. Like SHREK FOREVER AFTER, there’s alot at stake compared to the previous films, so much so that thecharacters’ lives are at risk, which is appropriate, considering thisis the last film and all. Although the darkest of the bunch (you’d besurprised how much PIXAR could squeeze into this G-rated flick), thefilm manages to perfectly blend the dark moments with light-heartedmoments. In fact, TOY STORY 3 is hilarious, filled with witty jokes andperfect comedic timing from the toys! The toys!

It should also be noted that the short that appears before this film,DAY & NIGHT, is bloody brilliant. The short is so original, sowonderful, so mind blowing that it’s an obvious Oscar contender forBest Short. I’m still awestruck at how original the short is.

I wanna all this stuff to be a part of my own life. Reviewing thistitle is not a simple thing to do: Toy Story 3 is not just "a movie",it's THE movie. Not just a silly way to spend about two hours of yourlife like all the other movies but something you won't never forget, something you'll bring with you until being buried. Because arecharacters like Buzz and Woody who make our lives special. When I'llthink of my early life I won't remember stupid things that boys of myown age often do, I won't remember any idiot girlfriend, I won'tremember how difficult school could be, but I'll remember the trilogythat made me dream, the trilogy in which I found my real friends.

I think it would be idiot talking about this movie homing in on graphicor plot and so on. Because Toy Story has stopped to be just a movie forme eleven years ago. Then it's like if I'm talking about a friend oreven something more. Just a few words to express my thoughts: One ofthe best things I've ever seen in my whole life. Here is the magic oflife. Here life can be surprising. The magic which makes adults becomechildren again. Disney Pixar showed us how magic life can be. I'm proudof acting like a child even if I'm already 19. But who cares…I preferbeing a 12 years-old-minded boy rather than being an adult if this isthe price to pay.

It's the perfect moment to release this movie for me because this is mylast year of high school and next year I'll go to university. Toy Story3 is for me the metaphor of abandoning all my childish world, thatactually I won't never abandon because my heart won't never be able tosay g'bye to what changed my life forever.

The movie's perfect in all its aspects, starting from graphics andarriving to screenplay and direction. I think it's not useful to talkabout this.

FOUR WORDS: The best movie ever.

Bye Woody, Bye Buzz. I won't ever forget you. I will love you forever.Thank you .
