I used ready this book all the time when I was a kid. This film is a prefect example of one of those rare films that surpass the book. I give this movie a 10 out of 10!

Wow, what a tough film to review. Its main focus is certainly not of a grand adventure, with some moral that’s easily digested. With that said, this film isn’t for everyone. In fact, in order to get the most out of Where the Wild Things Are, you really have to put yourself in Max’s shoes. And if you can do that, then you’re in for one hell of an emotional roller-coaster ride.
