This movie seems targeted for 12-15 girls. It has a message for younggirls to focus, pick yourself up, and to try to do well. So, in thisway, this clean message way, it is similar to a Disney movie.
I am a 60 year old male, and I liked it. It seemed much more gentle astory than I was expecting. There is no objectionable violence otherthan a few game sanctioned bumps and spills. So, I feel it gives a goodmessage to young girls. And I think it will promote Roller Derby inother parts of the U.S. It shows how girls can channel their energy anddrive to support the team. It has many "team problems" and "teamsupport" issues to help young people understand team membership.
I felt that Drew Berrymore did an acceptable job of directing the film.I would see it again.

This wasn’t a bad movie but it wasn’t the best either. Watch this if there is nothing else playing at the theaters. I give it 7 out of 10 stars.
