Worst and Best Schools In The Movies

With school already in session, there is no better time to discuss the best and worst schools ever featured in Hollywood. One of the best ones would be where we always have seen Harry Potter and the gang hangs out practicing all their magic. It is the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for all the movies in the ‘Harry Potter’ series. This is the only school where you get to be advised by an owl plus be fetched with the Hogwarts Express. No kid will not enjoy his first flying lesson plus several dungeons and a couple of professors who are truly creepy.

There is also Easy High School for ‘High School Musical’ where you can find the most diverse and happy teenagers you will ever see on the planet. You can even get to see the basketball team breaking out into interesting musical numbers right in the school cafeteria. This is where you can get to see nerdy girls that are pretty and get to sing about your most secret obsessions like what Troy and the gang does.

The ‘Sky High’ is also another great school that will make you think it is the lighter version of the Xavier’s School for the Gifted Youngsters. But this time, the teenagers are not anymore mutants but superheroes instead. There is still the usual caste system that divides the kids with those who have cool superpowers from those who less practiced abilities. And note: you will be taken to school via a flying bus. This is also a school where you can find lots of classmates being capable of doing anything whether it’s melting or traveling faster than light.

And now we go for the worst schools in movies with the unnamed California High School in the movie ‘Brick’. It would seem like your typical suburban learning institution but if you would dig deeper, then you would realize that it has underground syndicates of criminals who make business out of drugs and murder. You can be sure that every school has its own mystery but this one would surely make you feel creepy. Then there’s Thomas Ewen High School for the movie ‘Carrie’ as part of the list in the worst schools in movies. You would surely request for a transfer once you were able to attend Ewen High. What you can be grateful for is that the fictional high school was made in the 70s period when you still won’t be able to upload any of those bloody pranks to Facebook or YouTube.
